Aariz’s Growth in Understanding, Strength, and Voice- An Autism Journey

Aariz is a nine-year-old whose growth has become visible not only in what he can do, but in how he understands and engages with the world around him. Aariz lives with autism, and for a long time, progress raised questions rather than confidence—his family wondered whether changes they noticed were simply part of growing older or signs of something deeper taking root.

Respiratory Program nourishes Aariz’s brain with oxygen.

A Home Anchored in Patience and Responsibility

Aariz’s mother, structures much of daily life around supporting his development. With up to twenty hours a week dedicated to his program, Aariz’s days include learning, movement, and increasing responsibility—especially as he steps into his role as a big brother.

Through their work with Doman International, Aariz’s program has been carefully tailored to support communication, academics, sensory regulation, and physical strength.

Support That Sustained Momentum

When Aariz’s family first began the program, they carried hesitation alongside hope. They were unsure how quickly he might begin speaking like peers—or if progress would be consistent. In September 2024, support from YaraStar Foundation helped the family continue without pausing updates or evaluations.

This support did not initiate Aariz’s growth. It sustained the steady work already underway, giving his family confidence to keep moving forward.

Progress That Shows Up in Everyday Life

Over the last year, Aariz’s development has been both measurable and meaningful. He now reads independently at a fourth-grade level and above, with strong comprehension. His understanding of language exceeds his age, and he communicates complex thoughts using a letter board—once telling his mother, with insight beyond his years, that “dad needs to balance work and family.”

Physically, Aariz walks and runs over a mile daily on the treadmill, including sprint intervals. His coordination has improved, his stamina has increased, and he now navigates stairs with more control and awareness. Sensory sensitivities have eased, supported by respiratory work, movement, and nutrition.

“In 12 months, Aariz has grown 8.8 months—an average growth rate of 77%. That’s four times faster than before the program.”- Doman Method Coach

Looking Ahead With Purpose

With continued focus on communication, academics, and physical conditioning, Aariz’s goals center on growing independence and deeper participation in daily life.

Aariz’s journey reflects how sustained guidance can accelerate an autism progress story over time.We at YaraStar Foundation believe steady growth deserves room to continue.
