How Love and Support Helped Davud Walk Again
Davud’s family carried an enormous weight. 8 year old Davud had already faced more challenges than most do in a lifetime — cancer, blindness, and other health challenges.
His parents crossed two countries in search of treatment, pouring their energy and resources into keeping their son alive. Every decision was shaped by sacrifice, yet they never stopped in believing in Davud’s potential.
They discovered the Doman Method®, a brain development therapy that incorporates physical, intellectual and physiological components that help children with special needs stimulate neuroplasticity, improve mobility and cognition, and support better overall brain function.
Davud’s mother has been his greatest champion, dedicating up to seven hours a day to therapy. She has done an excellent program with Davud. His coach at Doman International shared:
“When starting the program Davud was immobile and now his parents have gotten Davud to take steps and begin to walk. ”

Her dedication shows not only the strength of a parent’s love but also the profound impact of a community - therapist, specialist & donors that believe in every child’s future.
The YaraStar scholarship awarded to Davud helped carry the cost of continuing this intensive work, keeping the program within reach for his family.
Today, Davud’s goals are clear: he dreams of taking the next step towards independent walking and receiving a more precise visual program to improve his vision. His journey reminds us that when a child’s resilience is met with opportunity, transformation follows.
Stories like Davud’s show what’s possible when families are not left to carry the weight alone. At YaraStar, we continue to stand on the belief that every child is a gift, and with hope, courage, and support, their futures can shine bright.
